Ubuntu is a computer operating system based distributed as free and open source software, using its own desktop environment. It is named after the Southern African philosophy of ubuntu ("humanity towards others"). Ubuntu is designed primarily for use on personal computers, although a server edition also exists.
how does it work?
Ubuntu OS uses most of windows designed softwares.
Ubuntu doesn't come with antivirus software installed so u have to instal it.
Ubuntu doesn't use letters, so there is no C drive or D drive , The desktop version of Ubuntu currently supports the x86 32 bit and 64 bit architectures.
